Online Pass Problem. 2012-03-09 12:55. edited 2012-03-09 13:26 by OblivionOnPC. My father bought me a 160gb PS3 and played Battlefield 3 for almost a year and had used the Online Pass. After a year, my father bought me a 320gb PS3 and then he redownload the Battlefield 3. When I started to click the Multiplayer, it says "Online Pass Check Failed". Then I happen to find my used-up Online Pass and type the code on the "Redeem Codes" under "Account Management" Section. Now, it says the "code may no longer be valid. Please help me find out how to solve this problem so I can still play Battlefield 3. Edit: Sorry for the grammar. I'm a Filipino. Not very good in English. xP 2nd Edit: The case was solved now ^^. Thanks to "jwildcha" and "XynDicAte9" answers. I can now play the game. You already used the code, you need to buy a new one. more money for them. i have had this trouble in bad company 2 simply contact ea support they will ask you for a picture of your original key they should be more than willing to give you replacement just explain them the situation. They say that "you still use Online Pass twice when you still have the account that you activated the online pass". Is that true. I am no expert here but I think that if you're gonna play on a different PS3 then they think you're a different person. Maybe ghostblazedk is correct. maybe what you could do is got to your Account Management, check under Download List (if i'm not mistaken), and that would display all the list of files/games/demos/online codes/etc which you have already downloaded in the past. just look for the BF3 Online Pass Code, and you should be able to re-download with no extra charge. hope this information helps. As long as you are using the same PSN account on your new PS3 as you were on your old PS3, you should be able re-download the online pass from the PSN store free of charge. But still ill try to find an easier way on how to solve this case. folks, just to add up to my previous comment, if you're using the same PSN ID, no matter the PS3 you're using. you can still go to the place i told you and search for the online pass code. happened to me a couple of months ago. my old PS3 had a problem with the motherboard (after 4 years of use), and had to replace it with a new PS3. with the new PS3, with the same PSN ID i've always used, i went into Account Management-- Download List, and there you should find the BF online pass code for re-download.
