Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AutoCAD® 2010 and AutoCAD® LT® 2010 are compatible with and supported on Microsoft Windows® 7 however Autocad 2009 is not tested on Windows 7 platform as per the information available on Autodesk website: Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Vista Compatibility siteID=123112. 2. Its been noted that if the computer supports hardware virtualisation sometimes xp mode works on home premium as well so its worth a try before upgrading to Windows 7 Professional.
